Pokemon Pokopia took the Nintendo Switch 2 and greater internet Pokemon community by storm when it released in March, and it seems that it'll attempt to maintain that strong interest through a rollout of DLC over the next year or so. With Pokemon Winds and Waves releasing in late 2027, the general belief is that Pokopia DLC serves as a bit of a buffer.
It's worth noting that all rumors and leaks live and die by their source, and while this info is aggregated by Centro Leaks, the true source is about as sharp as it comes: Game Freak itself. The Teraleak 2 included documents from 2024 outlining content plans for every single in-development Pokemon game, including Pokopia, and it included launch and DLC plans for the beloved life sim title. While some of this may have changed since their inclusion of the documents, the live version of the game is close enough to said documentation that fans can reliably expect to learn more about these biomes in the coming weeks or months.
