Capcom recently revealed its plans for the long-running Mega Man series, which has not received a new mainline entry since 2018. The Mega Man franchise has seen game collections released in recent years, along with a mobile game, but fans are eager to know more about the future of the series.

Known as Rockman in Japan, the original Mega Man came out for the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1987.
