Dragon Quest's 40th anniversary stream looks like it's going to be a big one, as the series' official playlist on Square Enix's YouTube has a whopping eight privated videos.
Earlier this month, the creator of Dragon Quest, Yuji Horii, confirmed on an episode of the KosoKoso that has since gone private that a livestream is planned for the series' 40th anniversary. Considering the big date and the somewhat secretive way that the livestream was confirmed, DQ fans have already started hoping that it's going to have some long-awaited announcements.
I am, of course, talking about possible news on Dragon Quest 12: The Flames of Fate, which was announced on the series' 35th anniversary nearly five years ago. The chances of that happening just got a little likelier, as some have spotted that the official Dragon Quest YouTube playlist has eight private videos, presumably for the upcoming stream.
