Behaviour Interactive has unveiled Jason Voorhees' full killer kit for Dead by Daylight. His power set is built around stealth and ambushes, allowing Jason to disappear from Survivors' view before reappearing without warning to attack.

The slasher will join the game as part of the upcoming Dead by Daylight: Jason chapter, launching first through the Steam public test build on May 26 before its full release on June 16. Behaviour says Jason's arrival marks a centerpiece of the game's tenth anniversary celebration.

Jason's primary power, called 'Omnipresent Evil', allows him to vanish from the map entirely. While hidden, he moves faster and leaves Survivors with no indication of his location. Even while invisible, Jason can still track you using visual cues such as footsteps. He can then re-emerge by targeting environmental objects like pallets, vault points, and breakable walls. He'll then return to the match with enough force to destroy nearby obstacles and trigger screams from Survivors caught close to the impact, revealing their positioning.

This mechanic feels closest to The Wraith because of the disappearing and repositioning gameplay.
