Demeo x Dungeons & Dragons: Battlemarked was an interesting title that appeared a while back in Steam Next Fest for me, and it showed an interesting tactical board game type approach to the Dungeons and Dragons model, not entirely unlike the D&D Adventure board games, including co-operative play. Today, creators Resolution Games have revealed a new update for Battlemarked that will bring content from one of the more known Dungeons and Dragons Actual Play's - Penny Arcade's Acquisitions Incorporated.
The new Demeo x Dungeons & Dragons: Battlemarked update will add a new string of side quests to the game - five of them precise that can be tackled as side quests throughout the main campaign, or as a straight set if you have defeated campaign 1's final boss. You'll get to meet the CEO of the (in)famous Acquisitions Incorporated Omin Dran (voiced by Jerry Holkins like he is in the show), and get recruited into the various profit seeking hijinks that they are known for. Much like Acqusitiions Incorporated itself, the quests here take on a more humorous and chaotic tone with Tommy Palm of Resolution Games comparing it to the more heroic and "grounded" style of the main campaign....
