Leaker Shares Blurry First Look At Modern Warfare 4 Key Art, Possibly Hinting At Korea Setting

Reputable leaker billbil-kun has shared the alleged Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 cover art (albeit blurred) to X in response to several fake and AI-generated 'leaks' making the rounds this week.

In 2024, billbil-kun shared similarly blurred and watermarked Black Ops 6 key art.

The key art features three nondescript soldiers running towards the camera — pretty standard Call of Duty flare. But what's interesting is the yellow number on the logo, which has been slightly obscured by billbil-kun's watermark.

At first glance, it appears to be a '4', but more recent Modern Warfare games have used Roman numerals (i.e. II for 2 and III for 3), so it would be an odd diversion. Some speculate that what we're actually looking at is '사,' the Korean hangul for 4, corroborating earlier reports from 2025 that Modern Warfare 4 would take place in Korea. At any rate, it doesn't appear to be following the last two games with 'IV'.
