Last week's Baldur's Gate 3 console content drop was a relatively disappointing one. While in previous weeks we'd gotten a werewolf version of Shadowheart, and multiple new classes, subclasses, and races, last week we got... Guy Fieri.

Thankfully, past indiscretions have been put aside, as Larian has just dropped 18 more pieces of content for consoles, and there are some bangers, including a pair of new races, a new class, subclass, and a bunch of new familiars. It's a good'un.

Baldur's Gate 3 console players are very much at the mercy of Larian's whims. While PC players can mod Baldur's Gate 3 to their heart's content, with quite literally thousands of options available, console players must wait for Larian to vet, approve, and upload content for them to play.

In one respect, that's great, you get the best content cherry-picked by the game's creators. On the other hand, you have to wait.
