In case you missed it, Activision has revealed Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4. It's coming in October, it's going to be on Nintendo Switch 2, and its campaign will be playable entirely offline.
However, that's about the extent of what we know about the game. Of course, this isn't new for a Call of Duty release, and given that Summer Game Fest is around the corner, with Xbox set to have its own Xbox Games Showcase, we're probably bound to hear something soon.

In the interim, if you were hoping for some juicy multiplayer details, like whether Modern Warfare 4 will have SBMM, or Skill-Based Matchmaking, then think again. That's because not even Infinity Ward, the lead developer on this year's COD, is willing to say one way or the other.
As first spotted by Insider Gaming, it looks like we won't have a final answer, but Infinity Ward at least promises to be transparent about things, so that's a start.
