Infinity Ward is Doing Something New With Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4

The Call of Duty franchise routinely places highly in annual best-seller categories with each new entry in the FPS franchise, but there are some fans that are also ready for something fresh.

In recent years, dedicated COD players have been asking for Activision, Treyarch, Raven Software, and Infinity Ward to do something different and innovative for the series to shake it up a bit. Call of Duty: Warzone remains popular, but there has also been some belief that it needs some new, exciting shake-ups as well.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, Call of Duty: Vanguard, and 2023's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III all featured campaigns that weren't as well-received as some other classics in the franchise, so many are hoping to see a bit of a return to form with Modern Warfare 4, which serves as the next installment in one of the series' most beloved iterations.
