Enjoy The Witcher 3 DLC, Because The Witcher 4 Won't Have Any

With one hand, CD Projekt Red gives fans The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt DLC, and with another, it takes away, as the developers have confirmed that there are no plans for DLC for The Witcher 4, nor any of its planned sequels.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt received two incredible DLC expansions shortly after its launch, with Hearts of Stone pitting Geralt against one of his world's many equivalents to the Devil, and Blood and Wine, which sent him to fantasy France for fancy parties and drama. Most fans had assumed this was it for The Witcher: Wild Hunt, until May 2026, when CD Projekt Red announced the Songs of the Past DLC, launching in 2027.

Naturally, fans assumed that the upcoming The Witcher 4 would be next in line for the DLC treatment, but that's not on the cards. During the most recent CD Projekt Red earnings call, CDPR joint CEO Michał Nowakowski answered a question about new DLC. According to GamesRadar, he shot down the prospect of The Witcher 4 receiving expansions, in the same way The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt did.
