If you love Sunrise's Gundam anime and computer games, do we have great news for you today: Sunrise has partnered up with Legendary Pictures to bring a live-action Gundam movie to the silver screen. The announcement came during the Los Angeles Anime Expo.
Unfortunately, nothing else about the film was revealed other than that Legendary's Cale Boyter (How to Eat Fried Worms, Blade: Trinity, Elf, Pacific Rim: Uprising) will be working with the Sunrise team as the project moves forward.
According to Deadline.com, the Gundam franchise has been around nearly 40 years with a "television series, manga, animated films, video games, plastic models, toys and novels".
