More than 551 digital movies are being removed from the PlayStation Store in September 2026, and it seems there are no refunds available for the affected titles. The delistings from the PlayStation Store include a large number of fan-favorite movies ranging from Terminator to Bridget Jones' Diary.

A recent statement from Sony gives new insight into the current state of the company's PlayStation Plus subscription service.

Sony has officially confirmed that more than 500 movies will be delisted from the PlayStation Store on September 1. This comes as the result of the end of licensing agreements between PlayStation and production company StudioCanal, and the films will be removed both from the PlayStation Store and users' libraries. The expansive selection of movies includes popular films like Tekken, Sharknado, and the first three Rambo movies. Sony will not offer refunds to customers who purchased the affected StudioCanal films via the PlayStation Store.
