No Man's Sky, which is undergoing another resurgence thanks to the Worlds Part 1 update, has an estimated 18 quintillion planets. Each procedurally generated planet can fall into one of 11 different categories, with each biome determining the ecological makeup of the world. Some planets are lush and teeming with wildlife, while others are completely dead, with no atmosphere and no flora and fauna.
Lifeless planets, repetitive dialogue, and constant inventory organization are just a few things No Man's Sky players wish were better.
Given such a vast array of planets, No Man's Sky players have been discussing what features are a necessity for a world to have when building a base, and what they can't be dealing with.
Any planet with a high sentinel presence is a pretty hard no for most No Man's Sky players. Although not always hostile, these drones can be a pain for any player trying to set up a base in the game.
