Fallout Fans Remaking The Original Fallout 3 Aren't Concerned By The Official Remaster

Last week, after many, many rumors had already made their way into every nook and cranny of the internet, Bethesda finally confirmed that remasters of Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas are actually happening and currently in the works.

It’s been a big couple of weeks for Fallout fans, and an even bigger one for a group of people currently working on a project called Fallout 4: Capital Wasteland, which is attempting to remake Fallout 3 in Fallout 4’s engine.

You’d have assumed that any official attempts to remaster Fallout 3 would have put a kibosh on any fans trying to do it, and there were people worried about what the Fallout 4: Capital Wasteland team would think, but, thankfully, these modders have a bit more grit and determination.

In a statement posted to the project’s official Twitter account, the team says that they are actually very excited to see an official Fallout 3 remaster, but assured those following that development will continue regardless of what Bethesda is doing.

Bethesda didn’t give us any idea of when the Fallout remasters are coming, but fans have a solid theory.
