Earlier this year, Warhorse Studios confirmed that a Kingdom Come Deliverance sequel was in development, aiming to launch by April 2028 at the earliest. However, it might not be a 'Deliverance' sequel, per se.
As reported by The Phrasemaker, a new trademark has been filed with the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) for a "computer gaming software" titled Kingdom Come Salvation. And while the owner remains anonymous, the identical font style and Prague attorney address all but confirm that it belongs to Warhorse.
The rest of the trademark is boilerplate for triple-A games, but it does mention "entertainment services for matching users," hinting that multiplayer may be on the cards. It's not definitive proof and should be taken with a grain of salt, but it's an interesting detail nonetheless.
While the trademark doesn't provide much else in the way of info, the new title does indicate that Warhorse is pivoting away from numbered sequels towards a more approachable franchise model. After all, jumping into a series with a subtitled sequel like Salvation is far more palatable than the third entry in a trilogy.
