Santa Monica Studio creative head Cory Barlog has announced at San Diego Comic-Con 2026 that God of War Laufey will launch on February 16, 2027, with a new Kratos-led God of War game also underway.
"Faye is, while it's a different thing, it's still a part of the larger tapestry of what we truly really want to explore, all of these different characters in there," Barlog said (via IGN). "But there's always going to be Kratos games, like throughout the whole history. We're super excited about that."
