Almost two years have passed since STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl's troubled launch, but what was once a struggling, promising title has blossomed into one of the best survival games ever made. As if that wasn't enough, the game is now set for its biggest post-launch milestone yet, and we finally have a release date for it.

Following months of anticipation, GSC Game World has officially announced the release date for the STALKER 2: Cost of Hope DLC. The first paid expansion for its flagship title is coming out on August 20, and even if you don't jump onto the bandwagon, the update containing it will bring plenty of features to the base game for free.

Into the Heart of the Zone

The STALKER 2: Cost of Hope expansion centers around two diametrically opposite factions and characters. Skif will have to team up with Zulu and Mavka in the search for answers.
