Paralives launched in early access to widespread success back in May. For many players, it was the Sims rival they were looking for, even if a few quirks are holding it back right now.
One of those quirks is the character models. Admittedly, these are very stylised, so they were always going to take some getting used to. And at this point, I think many of us have come around to them - with the exception of the baby character models. They just look… well… you be the judge.
The good news is that the Paralives devs are completely aware of this, and now, they’re working on some improvements. These new baby character models have just been unveiled, ahead of Paralives’ next patch on August 10.
As you can see in the before and after, Paralives babies are looking a little more like babies now. Rather than getting shrunk-down adult faces, the proportions have been fixed to give them adorably chubby cheeks and wider features.
In the replies, the old baby models are compared to both Bobby from King of the Hill, and medieval depictions of babies. Both are quite accurate, to be honest. But as amusing as that...
