Pokemon's 30th anniversary celebrations are well underway. Games like Pokemon Go are hosting unique events tied to the milestone, and the Pokemon Trading Card Game is releasing a monster blowout expansion, with dozens of sought-after cards. And of course, it's already being scalped for 7x RRP.
The celebration will also see tons of new merchandise released, including a $700, 40,000-piece puzzle and a suitcase that allows you to display your Pokemon plushies like they're in some kind of rollable prison.
The latest reveal may be far cooler than either of those, as Pokemon has shown off a trio of denim jackets, emblazoned with the final evolutions of Red and Blue's starter trio, Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise. Unfortunately, though, there's a very high likelihood that you'll never own, or even see, one of these jackets in the wild.
Over the last year, Pokemon and Japanese coffee brand Boss Coffee have collaborated on a range of jackets.
