YouTube channel Did You Know Gaming has reported that The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time’s record-holding Metacritic score is incorrect, and figured out what it should actually be.
Nothing will make you feel more like a zoomer than taking a look at Metacritic’s Best Games of All Time list. While you can’t deny that all of the games in the top 10 deserve to be there, the list is predominantly made up of games from before 2010, including the original Perfect Dark, GTA 4, and the first Super Mario Galaxy.
To be fair, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 absolutely deserves to stay right where it is, if not move up a few slots.
While Red Dead Redemption 2, Breath of the Wild, and GTA 5 do give us a bit of modern representation, the list is unarguably leaning more towards classic games due to how gaming and reviews have increased over the years. Nowhere is that more clear than with Ocarina of Time holding the top spot after nearly 20 years, which apparently shouldn’t be the case.
