A fan project that’s working to remake Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days with its own Final Mix version has hit a major milestone with a playable demo that’s out now.
As anyone who has grown up alongside Sora knows, Kingdom Hearts has been going on for quite some time now and has had a ton of different games spread across a somewhat overwhelming number of consoles. Luckily, Square Enix has made it pretty easy to get into the series with remastered collections featuring nearly every game.
Unfortunately, not every Kingdom Hearts title was given the same amount of love in the remixes, with both ReCoded and 358/2 Days being reduced to cutscene compilations that cut out all of the gameplay. That’s not really a big deal for the disappointing ReCoded, but it’s something that has long bugged 358/2 fans and even caused one team to put together their own remake.
