Baldur’s Gate 3 turns three today, and to celebrate, Larian Studios has slashed the price of its critically acclaimed D&D blockbuster to its lowest price ever on Steam, while also dropping the price of the game significantly on other platforms.
Baldur’s Gate 3 has an MSRP of $60, which, considering the industry standard is $70, creeping up to $80, is already a steal. However, if you don’t already own a copy on Steam, you can currently pick one up for just $41.99.
That’s a 30% price cut, which, considering sometimes big games can have their prices slashed by up to 90% on Steam, might not seem like much. The thing is, this is a game that could quite comfortably take the Nintendo approach and never cut the price of its games, and it would continue to sell just fine.
