The Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 port on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 systems has provided a slice of nostalgia to long-time Call of Duty fans, but not without its issues. Activision has rolled out a new update in the Black Ops 2 port that addresses hackers manipulating the accounts of players.
If your account has been impacted by a hacker, you will know about it relatively quickly. If you encounter a hacker while searching for a match, you will be kicked from matchmaking and be presented with a notice on your screen that reads: “You have been maxed.” From here, you will see that your account is level 55 with a Prestige icon. All weapons and attachments will be unlocked, and your create a class slots will be different colors.
There’s also another hack that unlocks all camos on your account, including mastery camos, allowing you to use them on your weapons without reaching the requirements. Whether you find yourself unexpectedly Prestiged or receive camos all depends on the hacker you randomly matchmake with.
