Once we have GTA 6 out of the way, there aren't many mainstream games that we know about that we can look forward to. The Witcher 4 is probably the exception though, as while we know that an expansion for The Witcher 3 is launching next year, probably setting up The Witcher 4 in some way, we don't actually know when the fourth proper installment is dropping.
With Gamescom Opening Night Live on the horizon, and CD Projekt Red expected to have a big presence there, it was definitely smart of the studio to get ahead of any rumors about The Witcher 4 popping up. Unfortunately, it won't be there, but CD Projekt Red has made up for the game's absence by revealing the official release window in a new developer update.
