Tides of Annihilation has been in the news quite a lot recently, but not for the best reasons. Earlier this year, it was announced by the game's lead actor, Jennifer English, that she would be leaving the project for personal reasons. She stated that she needed to "slow down" and "rest", and instead decided to take on an advisory role.
That left developer Eclipse Glow Games scrambling to find a new lead actor, and replacing a multiple award-winning actor like Jennifer English would be no small feat. There's plenty of talent out there though, and a lot of the rumors had tipped Grace actor Angela Sant'Albano for the role, fresh out of her debut in Resident Evil Requiem.
Well, those rumors now appear to be true, as it was revealed during Gamescom Opening Night Live that Angela Sant'Albano has taken on the role. We also got to see a new trailer with Angela Sant'Albano performing as the role's main character, and she does appear to be doing her best Jennifer English impression.
Character action is have a real moment.
Unfortunately, we didn't get any more details about the game itself, apart from more of the story. It still doesn't...
