Marvel Rivals has a reputation for a few things, one of which being a fairly toxic community. A lot of that is down to NetEase's lackluster moderation, though it does work occasionally.
A rather common occurrence among players is communication bans, which will occur when the Marvel Rivals system detects you're saying or typing nefarious things using the in-game chat systems. You'll be banned from speaking on a mic, and restricted from using the game's in-game text chat, and it's one of a few methods to weed out bad behavior.
