Square Enix has announced that Kingdom Hearts is getting a 25th anniversary exhibition that will feature exclusive merchandise, Keyblade replicas, and more.
Although Kingdom Hearts 4 was sadly a no-show at last night’s Opening Night Live showcase, that hasn’t stopped the last few weeks from being absolutely massive for the series. Not only did we get our first Disney world reveal in the form of Coco, but we also had our longest trailer yet and tons of behind-the-scenes details from D23’s Deep Dive panel.
For me, though, perhaps the biggest bit of news is that Kingdom Hearts 4 is “100 percent” locked in for its late 2027 release date, which means it’ll just about be part of the franchise’s 25th anniversary celebrations. As it turns out, the launch of Kingdom Hearts 4 is just an admittedly big slice of what Square has planned.
