Gamescom announcements continue to roll in, unveiling brand-new games and new content being added to some of our favorite titles, and Dune: Awakening isn't missing out on the action.

Funcom has just announced a batch of exciting new additions for Dune: Awakening, which will further immerse its player base in the game's rich lore, inspired by Denis Villeneuve’s Dune movies.

These announcements include the launch of the new DLC, Filmic Archive, which arrives on September 22, but they've also revealed some highly-requested features will finally be added.

September 22 is a massive milestone for Dune: Awakening, as the game is not only launching for XBOX and PlayStation; console players and PC players alike will have the opportunity to sink their teeth into the new DLC, Filmic Archive.

As the name suggests, Filmic Archive will bring the Dune video game experience and the magic from the movies closer together, allowing players to wear multiple different outfits seen in the films and utilize an extensive new set of building pieces that will make your base feel like it's straight out of the movies.
