Ubisoft Forgot To Include The Actual Game With Heroes Of Might And Magic 3 On Steam

Heroes of Might and Magic fans have been given a lot to be happy about over the last 24 hours. Not only was a remake of Heroes of Might and Magic 3 announced during Gamescom ONL, but a complete edition of the original game has finally been added to Steam. Well, kind of, as it seems Ubisoft forgot to add the actual game.

The remake revealed during ONL doesn’t have a release date, just confirmation that it will be here sometime in 2027. That’s likely why a lot of people flocked to the newly added complete edition on Steam to fill the Heroes of Might and Magic void in the meantime. However, as spotted by PC Gamer, some of those early adopters were left incredibly disappointed.

That’s because, after parting with $14.99, which is a steal for a version of this game that finally includes all of its add-ons and expansions, they were left with a 23.49 KB file to install. I know games were a lot smaller back when Heroes of Might and Magic 3 was first released in 1999, but clearly, something wasn’t right.
