Rockstar has finally issued a response to the ongoing Grand Theft Auto 6 leaks. In a statement, Rockstar says that the leaks have been "heartbreaking" for the team, but they're still looking forward to the big reveal tomorrow.
Rockstar also takes the opportunity to apologise that it has taken so long to reveal GTA 6 gameplay officially. Right now, all of the gameplay footage we've seen has come from leaks, most of which are from an individual or group known as Cyberleek.
"It would be an understatement to say that having videos of Grand Theft Auto VI gameplay leak in this way has been heartbreaking for our team, and this is obviously not how we intended for you to see the game after all this time," the statement reads. "We are very sorry that everything has taken as long as it has - from getting the game finished (nearly there!) to sharing more details and official gameplay, and providing the community with everything you want to know."
