'We Will Find You': Call of Duty Goes Full Modern Warfare on Cheat Makers

Stack up, open, bang, and clear. The tactical room-clearing routine is familiar to most people who have played any vaguely realistic first-person shooter, and a lot of that credit falls on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and its famous Clean House mission.

In most games, you'll see the liberal application of flashbangs and panoramic night vision goggles in purported raids against the big bad guy and his cronies, typically flavor-of-the-week fictional terrorists. What you probably didn't expect, however, is that Call of Duty would go door-kicking in real life against a villain you, me, and everyone with a semblance of a moral compass loathe.

Rather than sharing the usual data-laden cheating report, the official Call of Duty page posted bodycam footage of a 'friendly visit' to a major cheat maker.

Ready or Not, You've Been Served

The highlight of the report is a video taken during the recent Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 closed beta, where a cease-and-desist letter was served to a man behind the infamous Elocarry cheat provider.
