Persona 4 Revival is not only one of the most anticipated games in Japan right now, but worldwide for JRPG fans ready to jump back into Persona 4's supernatural murder mystery narrative. With both new and returning players having a treasure trove of exciting features, gameplay, and story enhancements to look forward to, one of the biggest questions on the minds of many fans is what social links will be changed in the remake.
Unfortunately, despite all the promising updates coming to Persona 4 Revival, the remake's producer, Kazuhisa Wada, had a heartbreaking update for fans given during an interview with GamesRadar+ at Gamescom this year.
During the interview, Wada responded to the demand for same sex romance options in Persona 4 Revival, and more specifically Yosuke, by saying he "was aware that some people were talking online about... and kind of hoping for that."
Unfortunately, despite the excitement that the demand has managed to reach the ears of Persona's creators, Wada also followed up by saying "if we did Yosuke, we kind of would have to do all the other male characters as well," and that due to "time and schedule" restraints, "we decided to let Yosuke float...
