Take-Two May Have A Cyberleek Suspect, As It Is Requesting Info On A Specific Discord User

Last Thursday was supposed to be our first proper look at Grand Theft Auto 6's gameplay. However, these plans were thwarted by Cyberleek, a mysterious group or individual who started uploading full GTA 6 gameplay clips online. It quickly became apparent that they had a playable build of the game themselves, despite the ridiculous steps Take-Two and Rockstar have taken to keep the game under wraps.

Now, Cyberleek has gone dark, and Take-Two might be closer to identifying them. As reported by TorrentFreak (thanks, VGC), Take-Two has filed a second subpoena in relation to Discord, this time requesting data on two specific Discord users as part of its search for Cyberleek.

As noted by TorrentFreak, this subpoena was issued last Friday. The details are being kept secret, with the filing almost completely redacted. This is different from previous subpoenas against Discord, Microsoft, and YouTube, of which we could read freely and see what information Take-Two was after.

In its explanation for why this filing needs to be redacted, Take-Two argues that public disclosure could "compromise" the ongoing investigation, and "tip off the alleged infringers". In other words, Take-Two doesn't want Cyberleek knowing if it's getting...
