It’s not even been a week since Grand Theft Auto 6’s extended look, but one talented fan has already recreated its Wanted system in GTA 5.
Although there are already plenty of people crying out that GTA 6 looks like “just another GTA” (as if that’s a bad thing), series fans will know that’s not really the case. From what we saw in the Extended Look, GTA 6 is taking the series in a more realistic and detailed direction, clearly inspired by how involved Red Dead Redemption 2 was.
One of the biggest changes that GTA 6 is making to the series’ formula is with its new Wanted system. Police will now recognise Jason and Lucia based on their clothing, vehicle, and even which character committed a crime, making it much more realistic and harder to cheese. If you want to get used to the new system before GTA 6 releases, someone has already recreated it in GTA 5.
