The rumors were true, and Sony is set to hold its annual September PlayStation State of Play presentation. Every year since 2019, the company has blessed us with a showcase, and they've typically seen an incredible breadth of games.

The September 2021 show revealed Marvel's Wolverine; 2020's show spotlighted Final Fantasy 16 and Spider-Man: Miles Morales; and in 2023, we got looks at Helldivers 2, Phantom Blade Zero, Marvel's Spider-Man 2, Alan Wake 2, and Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater. Oh, and Concord.

It's always a party, and if you're wondering when it kicks off and how to watch it, we have you covered with all of these details for the PlayStation State of Play this week.

September's PlayStation State of Play is a double whammy. It kicks off with a regular showcase and is followed straight after with a State of Play Japan, focused on games developed in Japan and Asia. It has promised "new gameplay, announcements, and more."

The doubleheader kicks off on September 3 at 6:00 am PT / 9:00 am ET / 2:00 pm BST / 3:00 pm CEST / 10:00 pm JST and will be available to watch on PlayStation's YouTube and Twitch channels.
