An official recap of the recent State of Play from PlayStation may have accidentally revealed that Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 is launching in early 2027.
This week’s State of Play may have started off a little slow, but it ended up being quite a strong showing with some backloaded reveals, including the GTA 6 DualSenses, Until Dawn 2’s new trailer, some strong PlayStation classic additions, and Final Fantasy 7 Revelation’s release date. Things only got better at the start of the Japan State of Play, though.
Out of nowhere, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 kicked off the second show with a stacked new trailer that revealed a ton of new footage, characters, customisation options, and more. As with every other Xenoverse 3 trailer so far, the new showing ended by promising a vague 2027 release date, but we might already know some more specific timing.
As pointed out by Twitter user DbsHype, the official PlayStation Instagram account recently shared a reel that highlights the biggest announcements made at the Japan State of Play. That reel interestingly claims that Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 is going to be launching in “early 2027”, rather than just the overall year like Bandai has claimed....
