Square Enix has revealed its lineup for Tokyo Game Show 2026 and, while Kingdom Hearts 4 is mentioned, you really shouldn’t expect anything new to show up.
After a few years of painful silence, Kingdom Hearts fans have finally been treated right over the past few months. Not only was the long-awaited Switch 2 port confirmed, but we’ve also had two new Kingdom Hearts 4 trailers since June, our first Disney world revealed, a release window confidently set, and much more.
Now that Kingdom Hearts is truly back in action and we have a vague date to look forward to, everyone is wondering when we’ll next see Kingdom Hearts 4. This month’s Tokyo Game Show showcase seemed like a safe bet considering Square Enix's presence there, but I really wouldn’t get your hopes up for anything new being shown.
Earlier this week, Square Enix revealed its Tokyo Game Show 2027 lineup, which includes a playable demo of Final Fantasy 7 Revelation, a demo of Final Fantasy Resonance, and multiple photo spots. As pointed out by Genki_JPN, the website also lists both Kingdom Hearts 4 and the Kingdom Hearts 1-3 Collection, but only under the trailer lineup.
