Onimusha: Way of the Sword came out earlier this month, and the consensus appears to be that it's a pretty good game. In fact, I personally think that it's Capcom's best game so far this year, and said as much in my full review of the game.
All the marketing and word of mouth appears to have done its job too, as Capcom recently announced that the game managed to sell one million copies on the first day of release. While Onimusha is an established name, the series has been dormant for a couple of decades, so that's still some impressive work and really does drive home how much people are clamoring for older series to return.
Thankfully, Capcom seems to be more than willing to actually give fans what they want, as in a recent press release celebrating Onimusha: Way of the Sword's recent sales milestone, the company claimed that it wants to keep "reactivating" its older titles and start leaning more heavily on its vast library of dormant titles to prop up its blockbuster releases.
