Monster Hunter Wilds Fans Are Absolutely Terrified Of Its Upcoming Expansion

While we're still quite a ways off from the release of Monster Hunter Wilds Ascension, Capcom has already offered several exciting sneak peeks at what we can expect from the upcoming expansion. While these reveals have teased several new areas, character changes, weapon enhancements, and even potential monster returns, there is one detail that has fans shaking over its implications.

So far, out of all these improvements, the biggest change coming to Monster Hunter Wilds Ascension is easily the introduction of the new Boosted Actions mechanic. While the drastic weapon changes and introduction of powerful and flashy new movesets look incredibly satisfying to use, it also raised concerns about what we'll be expected to use them against when the full DLC releases.

Out of all 7 weapon showcases we've seen so far that feature the Boosted Actions, all of them have either added an offset attack for weapons that didn't have them initially, or even granted them double offsets for weapons like the Greatsword that already had one. While reactions have been ecstatic so far, fans like Voidofthelight1 have raised the concern, "What are they doing to the monsters if it requires every weapon to get an offset?"
