Earlier this year, Nintendo confirmed that they are remaking The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time for the Nintendo Switch 2.

While details were scarce, we did know one thing was for certain: a 2026 release date. Today, during The Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary Direct, we now know when that day is.

The Ocarina of Time Remake will launch exclusively on Nintendo Switch 2 on November 5th, 2026. For comparison, the Star Fox remake, which launched earlier this year, cost $49.99.Unsurprisingly, Nintendo has been keeping things close to the chest, as indicated by their official description for the game:
