Nintendo has finally given fans a proper look at The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake, and it has added an amazing feature from the last time the company revived the game for modern platforms.

While Nintendo fans have seemingly been demanding an Ocarina of Time remake since the GameCube era, they often forget that it has already received one. Nintendo released an Ocarina of Time remake for the Nintendo 3DS back in 2011, which not only improved the visuals, but added a ton of much-needed quality-of-life features.

New information about The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake was finally announced during the series' 40th anniversary Direct, including its release date. What many fans might have missed is that it added one of the most useful features from the 3DS version, something that was impossible in the Nintendo 64 original.
