The biggest ARC Raiders update thus far, Frozen Trail, is fast approaching, and with it comes some major changes to the way Raiders earn rewards.
Embark Studios has just launched live update 1.45.0, which reveals the Cred currency will officially be retired when Frozen Trail goes live on September 8th—giving Raiders just one month to empty their wallets.
Cred Currency Replaced With 'More Expansive Reward System'
Big things are happening topside, and the ARC Raiders community has been patiently waiting for more content to sink their teeth into. In May 2026, Embark Studios announced a major change to the way they introduce new content to the game, opting for two major updates per year, rather than smaller, less-impactful updates every month.
The Frozen Trail update will be the first example of these major updates, and while some Raiders have undoubtedly become frustrated with the lack of new content over the last six months, Frozen Trail definitely has the depth to have retired Raiders returning to give the game another chance.
