Even though the recently released Star Fox remake for Nintendo Switch 2 is "just" Star Fox 64, I'm stoked we're actually getting new Star Fox content in the year of our lord 2026.
Of course, it helps that he's a prominent character in The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, too, but I digress.
Not content to rest on their laurels, Nintendo is blessing us with a second Star Fox game for the Switch 2...kind of, anyway: Star Fox Adventures is coming to the GameCube collection for Nintendo Switch Online later today.
Despite all the flak it's gotten over the years, Star Fox Adventures isn't a bad game. Its biggest crime is the fact that it plays less like a Star Fox game and more like a Legend of Zelda title. But hey, it's more Star Fox in 2026, so I'm not complaining! Here's to hoping that we'll continue to get more Star Fox love moving forward.
