5 Years Later, Star Wars: Knights Of The Old Republic's Remake Is Still Nowhere To Be Seen

Today, Nintendo fans were met with a wide array of game announcements, including ports, new releases, and surprising updates to fan-favorite games. While it has been a great few days to be a Nintendo fan, the same can't exactly be said for those hoping for an announcement regarding the Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic remake.

While it would be a bit odd for KOTOR to appear at a Nintendo showcase of all things, the fact that we didn't get the leaked new reveal that was reported months ago is a major disappointment given the significance of today's date.

As noted by Daily Star Wars Games on X, today officially marks the fifth anniversary since the Star Wars: Knights Of The Old Republic remake was announced, and despite having waited over half a decade for the project, we still know painfully little about the experience.

With the only official development updates being annual reassurance that the project is still in development, the fact that there hasn't been a single screenshot, gameplay reveal, or even another pre-rendered cinematic to keep fans enticed is more than a little concerning.
