Atlus has announced that Persona 6 is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 on the same day that a ton of story spoilers for were accidentally revealed by Steam, overshadowing the reveal that more masked adventures will be happening on a portable system.
For the longest time, the Persona series was strictly kept to PlayStation systems, save for spin-offs, like the Persona Q titles, which appeared on Nintendo handhelds. Over the past few years, Atlus and Sega finally allowed the series to become multi-platform, with the remakes and remasters of Persona 3, 4, and 5 being available on modern systems, allowing them to reach much wider audiences.
Atlus had previously announced that Persona 6 is on the way, and it's now coming to a new platform. It was revealed during the September 9 Nintendo Direct that Persona 6 will be coming to the Nintendo Switch 2 in the future. As the game still lacks a release window, it's unknown whether it will launch alongside the PC and console versions, or if it'll come later. Sadly, the trailer for Persona 6 during the Nintendo Direct was almost identical to its initial reveal, with no new content for fans to chew...
