Resident Evil 3 remake’s Switch 2 port costs noticeably much less than Resi 2 and Resi 4, confirming that Capcom knows how we all feel about it.
Yesterday’s Nintendo Direct was a packed showcase that had plenty of announcements and reveals, but one of the nicest surprises was the long-awaited confirmation of the Resident Evil remakes getting Switch 2 ports. Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3, and Resident Evil 4 are all coming to the console in just a month’s time.
Two out of three of those games are true 10/10 masterpieces that stand as some of the best Resident Evil games of all time. I am, of course, talking about Resi 2 and Resi 4 there, as Resident Evil 3’s remake is pretty underwhelming, especially compared to the others. It turns out that Capcom seems to think that as well.
Following the reveal of the Resident Evil remake Switch 2 ports coming in October, pre-orders for all three games went live on the Nintendo eShop.
