The past few weeks have seen a plethora of massive Steam leaks, which have spoiled countless highly anticipated games after their achievements were accidentally dropped through its API. While most of the leaks surrounded games we already knew existed, one of the surprise reveals was none other than a remaster for Thief: The Dark Project.
While it did take a few days, the acclaimed Nightdive Studios just responded to the leaks on their official YouTube channel by confirming that they are, in fact, working on a remaster for the first game in the series titled Thief: The Dark Project Remastered The Tarnished Mirror.
Coming from the studio that made several highly praised ports for franchises like Doom, Turok, System Shock, and more, the upcoming mouthful of a remaster is already shaping up to be an impressively faithful rendition of the original game, while still retaining the classic stealth game's original style.
Even though it won't be the groundbreaking remake that some fans might have been hoping for after all these years, the remaster to one of the most popular FPS stealth games ever made already boasts several new features like modern gamepad support, achievements, graphic enhancements, and upscaling to 4K...
