Rockstar Games has officially confirmed that Grand Theft Auto 6 won’t have the rumoured Disney World or Universal Studios parody theme park, despite how perfect that would be.
As the whole world is painfully aware of, we’ve been waiting a very long time for GTA 6. For a good chunk of the near decade it’s been since Rockstar’s last game, the only thing we had to tide us over was an unending supply of leaks and rumours about what the next Grand Theft Auto, at the time codenamed “Project Americas”, might have in store for us.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, a lot of the reports were focused on GTA 6’s massive map and the many locations that it would include. For my money, the most exciting claim that made the rounds was that the new Vice City would have a Disney World parody called Fairyland, which sounded like a match made in heaven. Sadly, that rumour has just been debunked.
