Fallout 76 Players Say PS5 Port Is Broken, Constantly Crashing

Fallout 76 players on PS5 say the game has been unplayable in recent weeks, due to constant crashing. Some have made the issues known to Bethesda's support channels, but say that crashes are still plaguing the platform, leading them to put the game down until a fix has been rolled out.

The problem has been reported across social media, with those in the Fallout 76 subreddit in particular venting their frustrations. For about two months now, those who play on PS5 say they're being met with multiple black screens in a single play session, which forces them to reset every time.

In a recent thread on Reddit, PS5 players report the issues they've experienced with the game since.

"Between 11:45 and 12:50 today, I have had 5 freeze ups or straight up crashes," says Reddit user Rich-Emu4273.

"I think my highest crash total playing right after the Skyline update was 9 in one day," adds mypatronusislasagna.

This seems to be a widespread issue on the platform, with some adding that they've abandoned the game.
