A Pokemon GO player surrendered a shiny Rayquaza by making a trade with their son. It's a constant challenge for Pokemon GO players to find shiny versions, since the odds of getting these creatures in Niantic's game aren't officially known. Meanwhile, to get Legendary versions, Pokemon GO players need to attend events and have the chance to capture some of the most powerful critters in the game.
Rayquaza, specifically, was seen for the first time in 2018 at Hoenn Celebration, the first edition of the annual Pokemon GO event focused on the third generation of Pokemon. This event, specifically, marked the debut of a series of sky-themed Pokemon in addition to Rayquaza, such as Salamence, Metagross, and all the Castform variants. Rayquaza shiny, on the other hand, was added to Pokemon GO in July of the following year, the same month in which other shinies were added, including Nidoran, Entei, and Mudkip. Getting a Rayquaza is not a simple task for Pokemon GO players, so a parent decided to help their son.
A new Pokemon GO leak is shared, and it brings new information about a feature that is highly anticipated by the game's community.
